The Seminole County Health Department offers reproductive health services including physical exams, screenings for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, and breast and cervical cancer, education counseling, and birth control methods. These services are available at the health department’s main clinic. Funding is available for tubal ligations and vasectomies for eligible low-income residents of Seminole County who are 21 and over and desiring permanent sterilization.

In 2005, over 3,200 county residents were provided Family Planning services.

Services are provided in a confidential manner.

Our dedicated staff is sensitive to multilingual and multicultural needs.

Condoms are available FREE of charge to females and males - just walk in and ask.

  • Pregnancy testing is available.

Methods of Payment:

  • Fees are charged on a sliding fee scale based on income and determined through an eligibility process.
  • Minimal fees are charged if client chooses not to have eligibility determined.
